International LED Summit Gathers Lighting Gurus from Around The World @ LED Expo Thailand 2017
Bangkok, Thailand, 30 October 2017 – LED Expo Thailand 2018, the 6th edition of ASEAN’s largest exhibition on LED products and technology, provides opportunities for LED lighting and product companies to penetrate the lucrative LED market in Thailand and ASEAN. LED Expo Thailand 2018 is the region’s most influential annual event in LED products and technology and is dedicated to the science, technology and application of LEDs and solid-state lighting. The show will take place at Challenger 1, IMPACT Exhibition Center, Bangkok, Thailand, from 10 to 12 May 2018.
The global LED lighting market is set for swift expansion and is expected to reach USD 54.28 billion by 2022; growing at a CAGR of around 13% between 2017 and 2022. Thailand is moving full steam ahead towards the use of LED lighting. In 2016, the turnover in the LED bulb market has increased 33%, with a total market value of THB 4,960 million. The government sector is all set to promote energy conservation, under the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency and the Ministry of Energy. An “investment subsidy” for LED light bulb replacement will be provided, with a total subsidy campaign budget of 521,125,000 THB.
Over 300 leading companies and brands will showcase their latest technology and solution to the industry professionals from government and state enterprises; industrial estates and manufacturing companies; shopping malls and retail stores; hotels and resorts; and commercial buildings, who are sourcing new technologies to improve the quality and efficiency of their projects.
This edition’s theme, “Future of LED”, will present the very best and latest in the industry. There will be many new highlight activities which include:

A special pavilion for new technologies that brings three categories of smart lighting innovation, for factories, buildings and streets. Showcasing the latest innovations, system integration and applications, it demonstrates how technology can play its part in the present and future of lighting.

This specific zone highlights high performance Solar LED products, services and technology for housing, commercial and industrial sectors, to induce huge saving on electricity, besides encouraging the usage of renewable energy.

This section showcases the best of the best lighting product displays that are popular in the market and can be utilized in different industry sectors. It features LED signage system innovations, with sound and light effects, to keep the visitors engaged.
